Description:

BIG-IP tenant software running on an F5OS device performs an MCPD "forceload" operation after a reboot which means the MCPD loads the configuration from the text config file rather than the binary database. /var/log/ltm contains chmand Hardware/Chassis change detected. ... Forcing db load from the file. ... Impact ... -- Devices report "changes pending" after the tenant is rebooted. -- This may result in configuration loss if auto-sync is configured. -- This may result in configuration loss as a result of operational foul-ups, regardless of which device had a newer configuration before one was rebooted, the newly-rebooted device will claim to have a newer configuration. ...
