Description:

Bug ID 1189157: Multiple full sync requests in incremental manual sync group ... Symptoms ... When in a manual sync group, ASM only performs full syncs, even if the group is set to incremental, and even if no ASM change has occurred. ... When pushing a manual incremental sync of several hundred events, the event handling is slower than the sync requests. ... Depending on how many sync events are in the incremental queue, the load on the device, and how long each full sync takes, this could lead to several spurious full sync requests for a single user-generated manual sync push. ... Impact ... Extra CPU and disk used temporarily during the extended full sync events. ... Conditions ... Workaround ... Use a manual full sync group for device groups that contain ASM, or push fewer changes. ... Fix Information
