Description:

Symptoms ... Policies imported through Rest (DO) need to specify their desired partition and policy name, or specify the target policy to overwrite. ... This can be confusing as there is no unified way to upsert - ie. create or update. ... Impact ... Policies are imported to the common partition with the name in the provided file, and not to the "target policy" specified in the task. ... Conditions ... Importing a policy from a remote file and specifying a target policy with partition and name that does not exist on the target device. ... Workaround ... When creating a new policy, a "fullPath" should be specified in the REST task. ... When overwriting an existing policy, a target "policy" object should be provided. ... Fix Information
