An HPE 6120XG or HPE 6120G/XG blade switch may gradually run out of memory if running a firmware prior to version Z.14.55. This occurs due to a memory leak that will cause the management interface responses to gradually become slower over time and will eventually become unresponsive.
Scope
Any HPE 6120XG or HPE 6120G/XG blade switch with firmware prior to version Z.14.55.
Resolution
Update the HPE 6120XG and HPE 6120G/XG blade switch to firmware version Z.14.55. The latest version of the HPE 6120XG and HPE 6120G/XG blade switch is available as follows: Click the following link: http://www.hpe.com/support/hpesc Enter a product name (e.g., "6120XG") in the text field under Enter a Product Name or Number. Click Go . Select the appropriate product model from the Results list (if prompted). Click the "drivers, software & firmware" hyperlink under the Download Options tab. Select the system's specific operating system from the Operating Systems dropdown menu. Click the category Firmware - Blade Infrastructure . Select the latest release of the HPE 6120XG and HPE 6120G/XG Blade Switch Firmware Version Z.14.55 (or later). Click Download .
