After successful deployment of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 (RHEL 6)on a ProLiant m710x server cartridge, the following dmar error messages generated by the kernel may be displayed at frequent intervals: dmar: DRHD: handling fault status reg 2 dmar: INTR-REMAP: Request device [[00:00.0] fault index 14 INTR-REMAP:[fault reason 38] Blocked an interrupt request due to source-id verification failure
Any ProLiant m710x server cartridges running any update of RHEL 6.
This is a known issue that has been fixed in RHEL 7. As a workaround for RHEL 6, add the kernel parameter intremap=no_x2apic_optout.
