Intel Adapters for HPE
No affected releases provided.
No fixed releases provided.
The Port number of Wake-On-Lan (WOL) in the ROM-Based Setup Utility (RBSU) does not match the port number of the Power Management Events (PME) function under a Windows Server operating system. When enabling the Wake-On-Lan (WOL) function of the HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 366T Adapter in RBSU, WOL appears in port4. The PME function of HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 366T Adapter under the Windows Server operating system when enabling Wake-On-Lan (WOL), is always found on port1 only (Network and Sharing Center > Network Connections.) NOTE: This is a minor cosmetic issue.
Any HPE ProLiant server configured with an HPE Ethernet Network Adapter and an Intel I350 chipset.
This is a hardware limitation. If the Wake-On-Lan (WOL) function is needed, enable the WOL on port4 under RBSU and enable the PME feature on port1 in the Device Manager when using the Windows server OS.
