In November 2018, the root and intermediate certificates used for communication with the HPE Data Center for Remote Support connectivity changed. HPE OneView Version 4.00.09 (or later) for Remote Support contains the latest certificates. As long as the old root and intermediate certificates are not used anywhere else on an appliance, the certificates can be removed safely. However, if these certificates have been used for anything else on the appliance, they should not be removed. Note : If FIPS is enabled, and the error message, "The root CA certificate with alias name: Verisign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5 is signed with signature algorithm SHA-1..." is displayed for Remote Support, HPE recommends removing the certificates listed in this notice because these certificates are no longer required for Remote Support.
