On any HPE system configured with either of the Network Adapters listed in the Scope section below and with Single root input/output virtualization (SR-IOV), the Virtual Function driver cannot be installed using any version of HPE Intel Driver for Windows. The following error message is displayed when an installation of the driver is attempted: "The software will not be installed on this system because the required hardware is not present in the system or the software/firmware does not apply to this system."
An HPE system configured with either of the following network adapters: HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port BASE-T I350-T4 Adapter HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port BASE-T I350-T4 OCP3 Adapter
