On any HPE server running Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or Microsoft Windows Server 2019, and configured with any of the HPE Marvell-based network adapters listed in the Scope section below, the drivers for these network adapters may not be installed successfully. This occurs only when the server is configured to use the Intelligent Provisioning Assisted Install method for Windows installation, and when an installation of Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or Microsoft Windows Server 2019 is attempted.
Scope
Any HPE server running Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or Microsoft Windows Server 2019, and configured with any of the following HPE Marvell-based network adapters: HPE Ethernet 10/25Gb 2-port SFP28 QL41232HLCU Adapter HPE Ethernet 10/25Gb 2-port SFP28 QL41232HQCU OCP3 Adapter HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port BASE-T QL41132HLRJ Adapter HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port BASE-T QL41132HQRJ OCP3 Adapter HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port SFP+ QL41132HLCU Adapter HPE Ethernet 10Gb 2-port SFP+ QL41132HQCU OCP3 Adapter HPE Ethernet 10Gb 4-port SFP+ QL41134HLCU Adapter
Resolution
To fix this issue, perform the following steps: Download the following driver: Marvell FastLinQ 10/25/50 GbE Drivers for Windows Server x64 Editions version 8.42.10.0 Perform the installation of the driver once again. Note: This driver can be also downloaded from the Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) Version 2019.12.0 (or later). RECEIVE PROACTIVE UPDATES : Receive support alerts (such as Customer Advisories), as well as updates on drivers, software, firmware, and customer replaceable components, proactively via e-mail through HPE Subscriber's Choice.
