Description:

Info

Any HPE Gen10 server running Conrep version 5.4.0 (or earlier) will not support the "I/O_Non-posted_Prefetching" setting in UEFI BIOS. Conrep provides this section as a setting but the UEFI BIOS ignores it because it is not used on these servers:
Enabled

Scope

Any HPE Gen10 server platform running Conrep version 5.4.0 (or earlier)

Resolution

This setting can be safely ignored, as it does not impact the operation or functionality of the server. Starting on Conrep version 5.5 the section has been modified to state the following:
<helptext>DEPRECATED: This option is not valid for Gen10 servers. This setting can be ignored.</helptext> <ev>CQHIOPK</ev> <length>1</length> <value id="0x00">Enabled</value> <value id="0x01">Disabled</value> <mask>0xFF</mask> <byte>0</byte>
Conrep 5.5 is available from HPE Scripting Tools Linux RPM Packaging version 11.40 (12/20/2019) RECEIVE PROACTIVE UPDATES : Receive support alerts (such as Customer Advisories), as well as updates on drivers, software, firmware, and customer replaceable components, proactively via e-mail through HPE Subscriber's Choice.
