Document Version Release Date Details 2 December 18, 2023 Updated the Revision section with firmware version 1.9.8, which contains the fix. 1 August 3, 2020 Original Document Release While using the HPE Ethernet 10/25Gb 2-port 622FLR-SFP28 adapter as the HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) shared network on Flexible-LOM, the iLO remote web interface is unavailable after more than two restarts from the OS.

Scope

Any HPE system with the HPE Ethernet 10/25Gb 2-port 622FLR-SFP28 adapter configured as the iLO shared network on Flexible-LOM. Although this has been observed with the HPE Ethernet 10/25Gb 2-port 622FLR-SFP28 adapter, this may potentially occur with other network adapters.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in firmware version 1.9.8: HPE QLogic FastLinQ Online Firmware Upgrade Utility for Linux x86_64 As a workaround, perform any of the following: Use Dedicated Network OR Use Shared Network on LOM OR Reset iLO using the iLO Restful tools OR If the shared networking on Flexible-LOM with the adapter being listed in the Scope section is required, downgrade the firmware to 8.37.29, that is packaged in the Service Pack for ProLiant_2019.09.0 or locate the "HPE QLogic FastLinQ Online Firmware Upgrade Utility" on HPE support center as follows: Click the following link: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Support Center Click the "Sign in" icon located in the top-right side of the web page and click the option "Sign in". Sign in to HPE Support Center (HPESC): For HPE authorized Service Providers: Enter the HPE Passport. For HPE Employees or Contractors: Click the "HPE employee sign in" hyperlink. Enter a product name (e.g., "FastLinQ") in the text search field and wait for a list of Suggested Products to display. From the Suggested Products list displayed, identify the desired product and select it. The page should refresh to display the "DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE" tab and the components that support the selected product. From the "DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE" expandable filter menus on the left side of the page: Select the Software Type - (insert the specific filter here, e.g. "Software (Authorization Required)") Locate and select the HPE QLogic FastLinQ Online Firmware Upgrade Utility. Note: To ensure that you have selected the latest version of the firmware/driver, click the Revision History tab to check if a new version of the firmware/driver is available. For more important information, review the Release Notes tab. Click the Download button.
