On any HPE ProLiant Gen10 Plus server running System ROM version 1.30 (or earlier), the two (2) ports of the Pensando DSP DSC-25 10/25G 2p SFP28 option card cannot be configured because they are not displayed in the following UEFI System Utility menu: System Utilities > System Configuration >BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Network Options > Network BootOptions > PCIe Slot Network Boot Port number 1 is enabled to boot by default; however, it cannot be configured, and port number 2 cannot be used at all to boot the system.
Scope
Any HPE ProLiant Gen10 Plus server running System ROM version 1.30 (or earlier).
Resolution
The server will automatically boot from port number 1 when using the NIC to power the system on.
