Document Version Release Date Details 2 April 2, 2024 A new fix has been added to the Resolution section. 1 January 14, 2021 Original Document Release. On any of the HPE Power Distribution Units listed in the Scope section below, incorrectly configured SNMP traps will prevent the Power Distribution Units (PDUs) from being monitored. The correct Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) Object Identifier (OID) in question is 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.165.11.6.5, but when this issue occurs, the received traps with the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.165.11.6.5 are marked as "Unknown." This issue is not caused by the firmware. SNMP OID traps could not be found according to the MIB file.

Resolution
To resolve this issue, download and install the following component version: HPE Power MIB Version 1.86 (Or Later) Workaround Manually edit the config file and change the OID from 232.165.0 to 232.165.11.6.
