Document Version Release Date Details 2 December 18, 2023 Updated the advisory to change the information about this issue. 1 April 01, 2022 Original Document Release. When updating from HPE OneView for VMware vCenter (OV4VC), the update task will display the status, "Running" despite the completion of the upgrade task. The upgrade task will display the status, "Running" when it should display "Completed" on the OV4VC Console:
Scope
Any HPE OneView for VMware vCenter (OV4VC) appliance when updates are made to OV4VC.
Resolution
Users are advised to disregard the Running status message. There is no functionality lost from running OV4VC in this reported state. Currently, there is no solution or fix available for the issue that occurs from this particular incremental update message.
