However, after creating a RAID with an MR416i-p or P408i-p controller, removing the power supply cable and connecting it back, a "Controller write cache status changed to Degraded (Error Code: Missing Controller Backup Power Cable)" or "Cache Status: Disabled (Error Code: Missing Controller Backup Power Cable)" or "BatteryMissing (Slot=2) Redfish event from/redfish/v1/Systems/1/Storage/DE081000/Controllers/0" log is observed in IML and at POST on a Gen10 Plus system. A "Smart Array-Data in write cache has been lost" log is observed in the IML on a Gen10 system. IML log examples: At Power-On Self-Test (POST): Example for ProLiant XL170r:

Scope

Any HPE Apollo 2000 Gen10 with a ProLiant XL170r creating a RAID with an HPE P408i-p controller. Any HPE Apollo 2000 Gen10 Plus with a ProLiant XL225n/XL220n/XL290n creating a RAID with an HPE MR416i-p or HPE P408i-p controller.
