The following NVIDIA HGX A100 40GB/80GB Modular GPUs installed in the Apollo XL675d Gen10 Plus systems come with a cryptographic embedded controller (CEC) that may require a firmware update: NVIDIA HGX A100 40GB 8GPU AIR FIO BS BRD (R3V64A) - Spares Kit SPS-PCA, A100 SXM4 x8 40GB Air-cooled w/HS - P22765-00 NVIDIA HGX A100 80GB 8GPU AIR FIO BS BRD (R7B94A)-Spares Kit SPS-PCA, A100 HGX x8 80GB Air-Cooled w/HS - P38948-001 Depending on the version of the CEC firmware installed you may be required to take multiple steps to reach the latest shipping version. To determine the steps required you must first know the version of the CEC firmware installed. The process to identify CEC firmware version is documented below.
