For any HPE Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 modules for Synergy configured in a Redundant or Highly Available Logical Interconnect, in extremely rare instances, both ports of the downlink LAG associated with a compute module may disappear from OneView, after a complete power-cycle (power off and then power on) of the entire Synergy Frame. When this issue occurs, OneView will display an alert similar to the following: "An error has occurred on connection <connection #>. Interconnect <serial number>, interconnect <bay #> port <port #> sub-port <sub-port ID> is not an active member of the link aggregation group LAG<LAG #>."
In the scenario described above, any HPE Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 modules for Synergy running any firmware version.
If this issue has already occurred, perform the following steps: Power off the affected compute module. Remove and re-assign the Server Profile. Power on the affected compute module.
