Document Version Release Date Details 2 January 2, 2024 Updated the Resolution section with HPE MR controller firmware version 52.26.3-5250, which contains the fix 1 June 12, 2023 Original Document Release When an HPE Storage server running VMware ESXi hypervisor has devices that are connected to HPE MR Gen10 Plus/Gen11 tri-mode controllers and the controller's passthrough mode is activated, HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) may lose track of storage devices in the iLO "Storage" tab when the virtual machine (VM) power cycles. NOTE : This issue does not affect the availability of storage information. Scope

This issue is observed on systems running VMware that have HPE MR Gen10 Plus/Gen11 tri-mode controllers installed. This issue affects all versions of HPE iLO.

Resolution
