On any HPE ProLiant server running Microsoft Windows Server 2019 and configured with any of the HPE Intel-based network adapters listed in the Scope section below; a network outage may occur when the DmaRemappingCompatible variable is set to "1". When the DmaRemappingCompatible variable is set to "1", the following conditions may be experienced: A network outage with an interruption of the packet transmission without an error event in the Integrated Management Log (IML) or System Event log. Link flapping (link up, link down). The network adapter may be displayed as "disabled" in the Windows Network Connection graphical user interface. After an iPerf test is performed, an event ID "10400" may be shown in the System Event log. This incorrect registry configuration of the DmaRemappingCompatible variable occurs when any of the following driver components is installed: Intel i350 Driver for Windows Server 2019 version 12.18.13.0” (cp051875.exe) Intel i350 Driver for Windows Server 2019 version 12.18.13.0 (B)” (cp052338.exe) HPE Intel E1R Driver for Windows Server 2019 version 12.18.13.0” (cp051857.exe) The following example shows number "2" as the correct default value that should be always displayed for the DmaRemappingCompatible variable in the Windows registry of Microsoft Windows Server 2019:
