On an HPE system running SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15 SP4 and configured with any of the Mellanox adapters with mlx5_core driver in the scope section may fail to boot. This occurs due to SuSE: kABI breakage in devlink_params_register - Bugzilla 1208050, 1211243 SLES15.4 base kernel 5.14.21-150400.22 is not affected. SLES15.4 errata kernel 5.14.21-150400.24.11 (or later) is affected.
Scope
Any HPE system running SUSE Linux Enterprise Linux 15 SP4 configured with any NVIDIA/Mellanox adapters with mlx5_core driver or Broadcom adapters with bnxt driver.
