Info

Document Version Release Date Details 2 April 1, 2024 A new fix has been added to the Resolution section. 1 July 18, 2023 Original Document Release. On any HPE platform configured with any of the HPE Intel X710-based network adapters listed in the Scope section below; the network adapters may stop communicating, responding or functioning as expected after updating the network adapter firmware with a Windows Online Firmware Upgrade smart component until a server reboot is completed. When this occurs, all open connections are lost. This occurs due to a known compatibility issue between the Intel network adapter driver and the Intel network adapter firmware being installed, where the Intel network adapter driver tries to communicate with the Intel network adapter firmware.
