Document Version Release Date Details 2 March 05, 2024 Updated the Resolution to include a certificate for OneView 8.8 or later. 1 August 21, 2023 Original Document Release. During enabling of HPE Compute Ops Management, the edit operation may fail with the message, "The appliance is unable to connect to the Compute Ops Management console due to a missing certificate. (CA024)." This will occur because the certificate HPE Common Cloud Management Root CA C0001 is missing from HPE OneView.
HPE OneView 8.4 or later.
HPE OneView 8.4 to 8.7 To correct this issue in OneView, add the certificate into HPE OneView. Use the Add certificates dialog box and perform the following steps: Select Settings -> Select Security -> Select Certificates -> Manage certificates -> Add the certificate using OneView API for OneView versions 8.4 to 8.7 using the following URL: https://support.hpe.com/unmanagedDoc/display/public/dp00003134en_us/Certificate.txt Note : For OneView versions 8.8 or later, use the certificate identified below. Copy and paste the certificate to upload to the correct OneView application. Once the root certificate addition is completed, retry the edit of the Compute Ops Management settings. HPE OneView 8.8 or Later To correct this issue in OneView versions 8.8 or later, add the CA certificate into HPE OneView by using OneView API Post /rest/appliance/cloud/certificate . For details on calling the API, refer to the HPE Compute Ops Management OneView API documentation found in COM Application Help. Add the OneView certificate by accessing the Add certificates dialog box: • "?" • "REST API reference" • "Settings" • "Compute Ops Management" Use the certificate in the text file that is available in the following URL: https://support.hpe.com/unmanagedDoc/display/public/dp00004083en_us/Certificate.txt Once the root certificate addition is completed, retry the edit of the Compute Ops Management settings.
