On an HPE ProLiant DL345 Gen11 server, when an HPE Compute SR932i-p/SR308i-p Gen11 Storage Controller is installed in the Primary free-height riser (riser PN: P50364-001), after a Server DC Power-Cycle, the array controller is not displayed in the BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) or the iLO storage tab.
Any HPE ProLiant DL345 Gen11 24SFF Configure-to-order Server (P54206-B21).
As a workaround, disconnect the AC power for 10 seconds and then power on the server again to recover the storage array controller. To permanently fix issue, replace the Primary free-height riser cable PN P50364-001 with PN P50364-002 - spare PN P68375-001, and follow the diagram for cable installation: RECEIVE PROACTIVE UPDATES : Receive support alerts (such as Customer Advisories), as well as updates on drivers, software, firmware, and customer replaceable components, proactively in your e-mail through HPE Support Alerts.
