Applicable components are not found when updating to firmware 1.64.0 via offline method (using the SPP in offline mode) on platforms configured with either of the Pensando Distributed Services Platform Cards listed in the Scope section below. This condition occurs even when the target network adapter is physically attached. The condition occurs due to a new firmware update mechansim that was launched in firmware 1.64.0.
Scope
Any HPE platform configured with either of the following Pensando Distributed Services Platform Cards: Pensando Distributed Services Platform DSC-25 10/25Gb 2-port OCP3 Card (P37687-B21) Pensando Distributed Services Platform DSC-25 Enterprise 10/25Gb 2-port SFP28 Card (P26966-B21)
Resolution
HPE recommends updating the firmware using the online method for every corresponding Operating System.
