On an HPE server with HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) or iLO 6, the Redfish Event Subscriptions are deleted, after performing any of the following: Downgrading firmware from iLO 5 v2.96 or iLO 5 v2.97 to iLO 5 v2.95 (or earlier) Downgrading firmware from iLO 6 v1.51 or iLO6 v1.52 to iLO 6 v1.50 (or earlier) Upgrading firmware to iLO 5 v2.96 or v2.97 Upgrading firmware to iLO 6 v1.51 or iLO 6 v1.52 However, in normal scenarios, this will not occur, especially if Redfish metric or event subscription is not configured . When applying/updating a profile containing these versions, once the profile update is finished, a warning will appear with the following message "The following firmware components are inconsistent with the specified firmware baseline....." The warning can be cleared by performing a simple Actions- Refresh from the profile screen.
Any HPE server with iLO 5 or iLO 6 after performing any of the following: When iLO 5 is downgraded from iLO 5 v2.96 or iLO 5 v2.97 to iLO 5 v2.95 (or earlier) When iLO 6 is downgraded from iLO 6 v1.51 or iLO 6 v1.52 to iLO 6 v1.50 (or earlier) When iLO 5 is upgraded v2.96 or v2.97 When iLO 6 is upgraded to v1.51 or iLO 6 v1.52 Note : Metric report subscription is introduced in iLO 5 v2.96 and iLO 6 v1.51.
This issue is resolved in iLO 5 v2.98 or iLO 6 v1.53. As a workaround, if the Redfish event subscription(s) are deleted, manually configure the Redfish event subscription using POST as explained in iLO Event services (redoc.ly) OR iLO Telemetry service (redoc.ly) . To download iLO 5 v2.98 or iLO 6 v1.53, perform the following steps: Click either of the following links: http://www.hpe.com/support/ilo5 or http://www.hpe.com/support/ilo6 The page should refresh to display the "DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE" tab and the components that support the selected product. From the "DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE" expandable filter menus on the left side of the page: For further filtering if needed - Select the specific Operating System from the Operating Environment. Locate and select the HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 v2.98 Firmware or HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 v1.53 Firmware . click the Revision History tab to locate the latest version.
