Document Version Release Date Details 2 March 13, 2024 Updated the Resolution to include the firmware fixes of the drive models. 1 August 21, 2023 Original Document Release. On the HPE NVMe Solid State Drive (SSD) models listed as shown in the Scope section below, a rare condition may exist where the drives report a false wear status of a "FiftySixDayThreshold" alert in the Integrated Management Log (IML). This messaging can be an intermittent false reporting issue that shows the SSD close to being worn out, and it can be ignored. For example, it may appear in IML as shown below: Caution,541,9461,0x0033,NVMe,0x0003,Hardware,03/22/2023 10:12:43,401: NVMe Storage - Drive at NVMe Drive Port 1A Box 2 Bay 2 SSD wear status changed to FfiftySixDayThreshold ACTION: Depending on usage patterns and business requirements, prepare to replace drive or modify workloads.
