Description:

Info

On an HPE AMD-based ProLiant Gen11 server, if a system reboot (warm reset) is performed immediately after an HPE Integrated Lights-Out 6 (iLO 6) reset, the system may stop responding during the reboot with a black screen.

Scope

Any HPE AMD-based ProLiant Gen11 server with iLO 6.

Resolution

As a workaround, perform a system reboot after 180 seconds of the iLO reset. If this issue has already occurred, the only way to recover the system is to perform a physical AUX power-cycle.
