HPE Compute Scale-up Server 3200
No affected releases provided.
No fixed releases provided.
Systems running IO Service Pack- HPE Compute Scale-up Server 3200 bundle version 2023.10 may experience the HPE SUM process exiting pre-maturely, causing incomplete SUM updates. The issue is intermittent. When using the Graphical User Interface (GUI) mode, the symptoms may include the message "Unable to Connect" after SUM has been running in inventory phase: When using the Command Line Interface (CLI) mode, the symptoms may include SUM exit code 11 from the SUM binarylog/root.log, as illustrated below: [INFO] :: Dec-10-2023 10:02:20:509 pm :: [manager.cpp:833] :: SUM engine is now running. Use the web browser to interact with SUM. This process will exit once SUM engine is shutdown from the user interface. [INFO] :: Dec-10-2023 10:02:50:054 pm :: [global.cpp:1105] :: Exit Code for SUM: 11 [DEBUG] :: Dec-10-2023 10:02:50:054 pm
Any HPE Compute Scale-Up Server 3200 with I/O Service Pack v2023.10.
An updated version of the I/O Service Pack HPE Compute Scale-up Server 3200 will correct this issue and this advisory will be updated when the solution becomes available. Given the intermittent nature of the issue, as a workaround, re-launch the I/O updates with the existing v2023.10 if a prior attempt is incomplete.
