No affected releases provided.
No fixed releases provided.
When the PCIe temperature sensor reading on an HPE Compute Edge Server e930t reaches the thermal caution setpoint, the system will shut down immediately, instead of with a graceful shutdown as designed. When this occurs, there is no warning message or other indicator.
Any HPE Compute Edge Server e930t.
A future version of the System BIOS will enable the system to gracefully shutdown as expected in the scenario described above. This advisory will be updated when additional solutions become available. Until the solution is available, the system will shut down immediately after the PCIe temperature sensor reading reaches the thermal caution setpoint.
