On an HPE Compute Edge Server e930t, after a reboot of the system, a "Failed to set Power Regulator setting" message will be displayed in the Integrated Management Log (IML). This occurs after setting up the server and then flashing the firmware to the latest available version. After the system is rebooted, the above message will be seen, and will appear after each subsequent reboot.

Any HPE Compute Edge Server e930t.

Resolution

A future version of the System BIOS will correct this issue. This is a display issue only and does not impact the operation or functionality of the system.
