HPE Compute Edge Server e930t
No affected releases provided.
No fixed releases provided.
On an HPE Compute Edge Server e930t, "Halted system due to SPDM component authentication failure" message may be seen on the console after the Power-On Self-Test (POST) is complete, and the system will not continue to boot. The Compute Edge Server e930t uses the Security Protocol and Data Model (SPDM) to verify the integrity of components and authenticate the supported option cards. If this issue occurs, the Channel Interface (CHIF) driver interface has caused the server's processing to time out after POST.
Any HPE Compute Edge Server e930t.
This issue will be corrected in a future maintenance release for HPE Edgeline. As a workaround, reboot the system to recover. This advisory will be updated when additional solutions become available.
