Info

On HPE ProLiant Gen10 Plus Intel-based servers, when a RAID-configured SATA Drive with a VROC SATA configuration is hot-plugged, it may take approximately 20 to 30 minutes to show up under the iLO GUI Storage tab due to a timing issue within the iLO. This behavior has been observed on the Windows OS. NOTE : This issue does not occur on the Linux OS.

Resolution

Refer to the Workaround below as there are currently no plans to resolve this issue. As a workaround, restart the Agentless Management Service (AMS) to ensure that the drive shows up immediately in the iLO GUI under the Storage tab. NOTE : It is assumed that there is an active login to the iLO GUI and that there is a Windows OS installed. Open the Host window in the iLO GUI. Click Ctrl+Alt+Del to open the Task Manager. Select the Service tab in the Task Manager. Right-click on AMS and select Restart .
