Document Version Release Date Details 2 April 1, 2024 Resolution section has been updated with the link of the HPE version of the Intel driver. 1 February 2, 2024 Original Document Release. On any HPE platform running Microsoft Windows Server 2022, and configured with any of the HPE Intel I350-based network adapters with HPE Intel E1R Driver for Windows Server 2022 version 13.0.16.0 (or prior) listed in the Scope section below; when the network adapters are set to force speed and duplex in the Operating System (Microsoft Windows Server 2022), the network adapter may still attempt to auto-negotiate the link. This will result in a duplex mismatch if the link partner is also set to force speed and duplex. When a duplex mismatch a occurs, poor network performance and collisions may be experienced on the server.

Scope

Any HPE platform running Microsoft Windows Server 2022, and configured with any of the following HPE Intel I350-based network adapters with HPE Intel E1R Driver for Windows Server 2022 version 13.0.16.0 (or prior): HPE Ethernet 1Gb 2-port BASE-T I350-T2V2 Adapter (652497-B21) HPE Ethernet 1Gb 4-port BASE-T I350-T4V2 Adapter (811546-B21) Intel I350-T4 Ethernet 1Gb 4-port BASE-T Adapter for HPE (P21106-B21) Intel I350-T4 Ethernet 1Gb 4-port BASE-T OCP3 Adapter for HPE (P08449-B21) Note: The network adapter(s) in this document are affected by a naming standard change for HPE products to help customers quickly and easily identify the specific vendor and model while configuring HPE platforms. Resolution

To resolve this issue, download and install the following driver component: Intel i350 Driver for Windows Server 2022 Version 14.0.3.0 (Or Later) RECEIVE PROACTIVE UPDATES : Receive support alerts (such as Customer Advisories), as well as updates on drivers, software, firmware, and customer replaceable components, proactively in your e-mail through HPE Support Alerts.
