Info

Document Version Release Date Details 2 April 8, 2024 Added iLO 6 as affected and updated Resolution. 1 February 7, 2024 Original Document Release. On HPE Integrated Lights-Out 5 (iLO 5) firmware v3.00 (or later) and iLO 6 firmware v1.10 (or later), some SNMP MIB responses for Controller, Logical Drive and Physical Drive responses maybe inconsistent from prior version of iLO firmware. In an effort for iLO to move towards autonomous and out-of-band methods for systems management, the iLO firmware was modified to collect a subset SNMP MIB response using the industry standard Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) Redfish Device Enablement (RDE) standards implementation. As a result, this has exposed a gap in iLO SNMP responses. As the DMTF standards evolve, HPE is in the process of bridging any gaps arising between the vendor SNMP MIB responses.

Scope

Any HPE system with iLO 5 or iLO 6.

Resolution

HPE is in process to achieve parity in subsequent releases between for SNMP MIB responses w.r.t RDE enabled devices such as storage controllers.
