Document Version Release Date Details 2 March 26, 2024 Updated the Resolution to include the permanent fix, OneView 8.80. 1 February 15, 2024 Original Document Release. When creating a profile that includes iLO settings, a compliance alert may appear unexpectedly and some of the settings may not be appear as expected. This incorrect compliance alert will be displayed under the following conditions: The "Delete Administrator account" setting under "Manage administrator account" is selected. The "Manage directory configuration" setting is selected and no value is entered for "iLO object Password." " iLO Settings do not match the expected values. Resolution Review the iLO settings details for the server profile to view the inconsistent setting(s). Reapply the server profile to configure the iLO settings to match the expected values ." Additionally, the Inconsistent option in the iLO Settings will display, "No data available in table" for the settings: The "Generic LDAP" setting under "Manage directory configuration" will not be set as expected due to the following actions: Generic LDAP is toggled on and the profile is applied. The profile is edited and Generic LDAP is toggled off. After this setting is turned off, the profile will successfully apply, but the setting will not be properly applied to iLO and will remain enabled.

HPE OneView 8.60 or later.

Resolution

The incorrect compliance alert can be ignored. However, the issue can be fixed by updating to HPE OneView 8.80. To work around the issue, manually disable the "Generic LDAP" setting in the iLO User Interface.
