On HPE OneView for VMware vCenter (OV4VC) 11.4, a firmware update may fail while using VMware Lifecycle Manager during the staging operation. When this issue occurs, the VMware Lifecycle Manager will report the message: " The remediation of host is failed due to potentially transient reasons. The STAGE_UPDATE for host failed on HSM ." HPE OneView for VMware vCenter will also fail to edit/update the OneView Server profile with a new firmware baseline. Scope

HPE OneView for VMware vCenter (OV4VC) 11.4.0 and HPE OneView 8.50 or later.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in HPE OneView for VMware 11.5.0. Update to OV4VC 11.5.0 in order to update the firmware.
