Resolution

This issue will be fixed in a future Microsoft Windows Server 2022 Cumulative Update 5B patch, and this document will be updated when more information is available. As a workaround, follow the steps below: Important: Before booting into Windows Server 2022, Load defaults from the BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) settings which can be accessed by pressing F9 during boot. Enable TME under System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Memory Options > Memory Encryption Options > Total Memory Encryption (TME). Enable Intel(R) Software Guard Extensions (SGX) and set the PRMRR Size under System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Server Security > Intel Security Options. PRMRR size can be set to 256MB, 512MB, 1G, 2G, 4G, 8G, 16G, 32G, 64G, 128G, 256G. Note: Do not set the size to 512GB. Save and reboot. Boot into Windows Server 2022.
