On any of the HPE ProLiant Gen11 servers mentioned in the Scope section below, after an update of the UBM5 Backplane PIC firmware using either SPP or the firmware component (FWPKG), the updated firmware version will not match for all the UBM5 BP devices under iLO > System Information - Device Inventory, even when the firmware update is completed successfully. When this occurs, the amount of UBM5 devices being displayed is one less than the actual UBM5 devices installed, the following image shows five UBM5 devices when there are actually six installed:
