Processing activity should cause an LED to flash green during Input-Output (I/O) activities for the HPE D5-P5430 15.36TB SSD PCIe Gen4 NVMe Solid State Drives (SSDs). However, the LED may not flash and instead may remain solid green during I/O activities for some appliance applications.
Any HPE ProLiant servers that support HPE Serviceguard for Linux with the following drive models for HPE D5-P5430 15.36TB SSD PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD: VV003840KXWBF VV007680KXWBL VV015360KXWBN
This issue will be fixed in a future HPE firmware version. The solid green LED activity light indicates the drive is active and the Input-Output (I/O) will be processed. It is a visible issue that does not affect applications. The I/O activities will transfer data as normal without the LED flash. This advisory will be updated if additional information becomes available.
