On an HPE Gen10 or HPE Gen10 Plus server, UEFI Diagnostics 6.9.6.0186, included in HPE Intelligent Provisioning (IP) 3.88, fails the Component tests "HDD TESTS: HDD Short DST Test and HDD LONG DST" test. When this occurs, the Long test runs for approximately two seconds and shows same message as the short test. The tests fail with a "PASSED WARNING" message, and fail almost instantly when run:
Scope
Any HPE Gen10/HPE Gen10 Plus server running UEFI Diagnostics 6.9.6.0186 with any MR controller and any drive. Failures have been observed with the following HDD models, but may also occur with other NVME/SATA disks attached to MR216i and MR408i controllers: VK001920GWSRU MK000960GZXRB VK000960GWSRT VK001920GWTT
