For any HPE Edgeline Server Blades listed in the Scope section below and after enabling Intel Platform Controller Hub Volume Management Device (Intel PCH VMD), the HPE Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) will report drives connected in slot 12 and slot 13, as connected in slot 11 and slot 10 respectively. This incorrect reporting is due to an Edgeline e920/e920d/e920t limitation.

Scope

In the scenario described above, the following Server Blades running any System ROM version: HPE Edgeline e920 Server Blade HPE Edgeline e920d Server Blade HPE Edgeline e920t Server Blade

Resolution

This issue does not affect the system functionality and can be safely ignored.
