In HPE MSA 1060 and 2060 Storage systems using IN210R004 firmware and MSA-DP+ disk group, a replacement disk may report that the system needs to perform a remanufacture operation on the disk. #show alerts - will provide details about the replacement drive: disk_01.xx CRITICAL Yes No The system needs to perform a remanufacture operation on the disk, but that operation is pending while another remanufacture operation is in progress. - Monitor the disk. NOTE : This issue is cosmetic only; the replacement drive will join the disk group.

This advisory applies to the following HPE MSA Storage arrays: HPE MSA 1060 Storage HPE MSA 2060 Storage
Resolution
This issue will be fixed in a future HPE MSA 1060/2060 firmware release. As a workaround to clear the alert message: In the HPE MSA CLI, execute the #show disks command. Unseat the drive with Health: Fault Reason: The system needs to perform a remanufacture operation on the disk, but that operation is pending while another remanufacture operation is in progress. A restart of Storage controller(x), the one that owned the Pool with the Fault drive, is required. Wait for controller(x) to come back online. Insert the drive in the same slot. Reconstruction will start, and the Fault condition will clear.
