When a server profile for a HPE Gen10 server with "DriveWriteCache" enabled in the profile settings when the local storage configuration is managed by OneView, the following error message may display in OneView after applying the profile: " The local storage configuration on the server hardware does not match the local storage configuration from the server profile "
Scope
HPE OneView 8.60 or later when "DriveWriteCache" is enabled in the profile setting for the storage controller.
Resolution
This is a "false" alert and does not affect functionality. It is safe to ignore the alert and manually clear it. The alert will not re-occur during normal activities, unless a full server profile re-apply is performed again.
