Beginning with the release of Fabric OS (FOS) v8.2.3e, all HPE B-series 16Gb Gen5 products, with the exception of the Brocade 16Gb Fibre Channel SAN Switch Module for HPE Synergy and Brocade 16Gb SAN Switch for HPE BladeSystem c-Class, are required to have a FOS Upgrade Certificate generated and installed on them prior to installing a new version of FOS. These new FOS Upgrade Certificates are available for download from the Brocade Assist Portal at no cost for any Gen5 switch that has a current support contract.
