The HP Lights-Out Configuration Utility for Windows, CPQLOCFG, does not permit the importation of any HP Systems Insight Manager (HP SIM) Certificate with the "-t" option. Only a partial certificate import will occur. The CPQLOCFG �t option is unable to handle more than 48 characters. Importing an HP SIM certificate with the "-t" option imports the certificate until the first new line character. The partial HP SIM certificate import can be viewed under the SSO page of HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) Graphical User Interface (GUI):
Scope
Any ProLiant server running the Lights-Out Configuration Utility (CPQLOCFG) 4.0.0.0 or HP Lights-Out Online Configuration Utility (HPONCFG) 4.0.0.0 for Windows with iLO 2, iLO 3, or iLO 4.
Resolution
The HP Lights-Out Configuration Utility "-t" option should be avoided for importing any HP SIM Certificate or any variable with more than 48 characters. Import the HP SIM Certificate by including the certificate under the <IMPORT_CERTIFICATE> tag of Import_Cert.xml script and run the script with HP Lights-Out Configuration Utility.
