Attempting to update the HP ProCurve 6120G/XG or HP ProCurve 6120XG Blade Switches firmware to version Z.14.46 via HTTPS/SSL may fail when the upload button is clicked. This has been observed when using Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers attempting an HTTPS/SSL upload of a firmware image.
Scope
Any HP ProCurve 6120G/XG or HP ProCurve 6120XG Blade Switches attempting to upgrade the firmware to version Z.14.46 via HTTPS/SSL.
Resolution
This is targeted to be resolved in a future version of the firmware that will accommodate the different timings of Internet Explorer and Firefox. As a workaround, upload the firmware image using any of the following: TFTP FTP SCP/SFTP HTTP This advisory will be updated when additional information is available.
