The MPX200 Multifunction Router provides fibre channel (FC) block-based data migration across heterogeneous arrays. It also provides multi-protocol capabilities and includes the following fabric services: FC to FC, iSCSI to FC Bridge, FCoE to FC storage, and FCIP connectivity over distance. The HP MPX200 Multifunction Router entered its end of life (EOL) period on 1 October 2013; however, some aspects of the dates have been updated. This End of Life Announcement (EOLA) supersedes all previous MPX200 announcements, and serves as an update for those customers who may have not received any MPX200 (EOLA) notification from HP either in writing or from other methods, or would desire to have the latest MPX200 EOL information. This communication update provides the latest MPX200 (EOLA) changes pertaining to: MPX200 hardware end of life and end-of-support-life (EOSL) dates. MPX200 available options for hardware and software purchases. Options provided by HP TS Storage Consulting Data Migration Services. End of life Announcement Definitions End of Life Announcement (EOLA) Refers to the EOL announcement date and this letter. EOL Describes the process and period from EOL announcement to End of Service life. Discontinuance (DISC) Orders after this date will be fulfilled based on inventory. Obsolescence (OBSO) Last day to purchase MPX200 hardware or software, subject to availability. End of Support Life (EOSL) HP Support for the associated said products end on this date.
