On a ProLiant server attempting to complete the following user-initiated tasks in the Linux Version Control Agent (LVCA), the LVCA generates the following Event IDs in "var/log/messages, but without any additional information: Service start Service stop Service restart Repository configuration Components installation
Scope
Any ProLiant server configured with the LVCA.
Resolution
The LVCA is End-Of-Life (EOL); therefore, this issue will not be corrected. Refer to the following additional information regarding the Event IDs shown above: 1073741884 - Started the Version Control Agent (normal startup) 1073741889 - The Version Control Agent Win32 service was stopped 3221225975 - The configuration task failed 3221225680 - The installation task failed 3221226076 - The Version Control Agent Win32 service could not be started successfully Event ID 1-LVCA Service failed during initial startup Event ID 2- The configuration failed during LVCA installation RECEIVE PROACTIVE UPDATES : Receive support alerts (such as Customer Advisories), as well as updates on drivers, software, firmware, and customer replaceable components, proactively via e-mail through HP Subscriber's Choice.
