Document ID: c04876978 Version: 1 VMware Thin App 4.X End of Service Life and End of Availability for Sale Notification Release Date: 2015-11-04 Last Updated: 2015-11-04 DETAILS OF CHANGE VMware Thin App 4.X products will reach their End of Support Life date on May 31, 2015. As per our partner agreement with VMware, HP must end support on these products in alignment with VMware’s End of Support Life date. As an existing Thin App 4.X customer, you are entitled to receive Thin App 5.X as part of your support and subscription entitlement. You will not see an update on your HP support contract as product numbers did not change with the release of the 5.X product. The VMware Thin App 5.X EOSL date is currently scheduled for 10/31/2016. At this time we do not know if VMware will continue this product to a 6.0 version. HP customers with existing Thin App support contracts who would like to continue using Thin App functionality may purchase an upgrade to Horizon View. HP makes every attempt to provide replacement or migration information to our customers. Thin App capabilities have been integrated and enhanced in the Horizon View 6.X product.
