VMware has now announced they will remove DPA from the acceleration kit as of August 31, 2014 for new sales. For more information about the vSphere Operation Management version 5.5 products refer to http://www.vmware.com/products/vsphere-operations-management/ As a vSphere Operations Management 5.1 Acceleration Kit customer your HP support contract will be updated upon renewal to show the individual products contained 5.5 kit or current version kit. Please note if your contract expires beyond the EOSL date for DPA then you will no longer see the DPA SKU on your contract upon renewal. vSphere – Quantity 6 vCenter Server – Quantity 1 Data Protection Advanced - Quantity 6 VMware has announced end of availability for the sale of vSphere Operations Management Acceleration kits (with DPA). HP will stop selling vSphere Operations Management Acceleration kits with DPA on September 1, 2014. As per our partner agreement with VMware, HP must end support on these products in alignment with VMware’s End of Support Life date. While you may continue to use the VMware vSphere Data Protection Advanced 5.5, HP support for this product will end for the 5.5 version as of November 30, 2018. There is currently no end of service life announcement for the vSphere Operations Management 5.5 version. You may continue receiving support through the lifecycle of the product.
